Bullying can be a real problem in today’s society.
Although it has been addressed more publicly in recent years, if unaddressed it can lead to tragic circumstances.
It is well known that Ju Jitsu can help children feel more confident against abusive behaviour from their peers and even when we reach our adult years.
Here are some ways Ju Jitsu can help us all deal with this behaviour:
- Self-Confidence, for example, you can walk into a crowded classroom and not feel intimidated, afraid or nervous.
- Fight or flight, knowing that walking away from trouble is braver than staying and fighting, but still having the skills to defend yourself if needed.
- Respect for everyone, treat everyone as you want to be treated.
- Friendships that last.
- Exercise is good for the body and mind, relieves stresses and pressures of everyday life.
